At Audubon Park in New Orleans a lone flower bloomed on a sprawling magnolia tree. Once I put it on canvas, I decided to give it some friends, and this was the result. The lonely magnolia is shining its lovely differences in a sea of sameness. If I had been painting when my daughter was a young teen, I would have hung this in her room as a reminder to not worry about what others have or do. Just “Be Yourself.”
Original acrylic painting capturing a magnolia learning to NOT follow the crowd.
High-quality gallery canvas and vibrant, durable acrylic paints
18”x18”
1.5” finished sides
Ready to hang
