This painting began with ink blots on a canvas. The inkblots vaguely resembled flowers. I just painted where they took me and ended up with this vase full of flowers. Bouquets are a beautiful gift for any occasion but offer an extra display of kindness when sadness is involved. Someday, somewhere, this painting will be hanging on a wall. and unlike live bouquets that fade, this bunch of painted posies will be forever “Chasing Away the Blues.”
